Discover two of Monte’s most famous attractions on a private tuk tuk tour from Funchal. Travel through the historic Old Town and climb the old roads towards Monte, enjoying local stories and scenic views along the way.
In Monte, take time for the traditional wicker toboggan ride, one of Madeira’s best-known experiences with more than a century of history. Toboggan tickets are not included. Your driver waits at the end of the ride and then takes you back up to Monte Palace Tropical Garden.
Enjoy 1 hour and 30 minutes to explore the garden at your own pace, including its lush vegetation, oriental gardens, lakes, sculptures and panoramic surroundings. Monte Palace admission is not included. After your visit, return comfortably to Funchal by tuk tuk.
